What We Do
At De La Pet Salon, we put your dog’s comfort and health first. We are different from other grooming shops because we do not have time limits or quotas to meet. Our groomers are trained to take their time with each dog.
Your dog is given a space in our salon when they arrive, so they get used to the smells and sounds before we even get them in the bath.
While bathed, they get cleaned and given a good massage with topical shampoos and conditioners to fit their skin and coat needs.
We do not force any dog through the drying process; if they are weary of the dryer, we will allow them to rest in front of gentle fans to continue the drying process. This may take extra time, but we believe in Humanity before Vanity.
While dematting is inevitable with some dogs, we will take our time to give them a conditioning treatment and assess if they can be comfortably brushed out. If not, we highly recommend cutting the coat shorter.
We want clients to become like family; the best thing for your dog is to get on a good grooming schedule so they don’t come in with matting, compacted coats, or fear of the grooming shop. We want to make it a place of comfort and for them to feel amazing after their appointment.
Grooming also starts at home; brushing and combing regularly helps them have a better experience in our salon. Booking an appointment with us is like getting your dog in for a spa day.
Please do not expect a rush or “zoom groom.” Their appointment is to get cleaned up, feel good, and leave happy.
